The body is made of laminated birch. The front rod and pegbox are made of solid maple.

Harpsicle® Harp

without lever mechanics

Basic tuning C major

The very affordable basic model - Harpsicle® Harp - is a real lightweight at 2.6kg.
This harp is produced without lever mechanics, i.e. you can play on it in the keys of C major and A minor without retuning.
Due to the lack of bridge pins, it is not possible to install lever mechanics.
Like all Harpsicle Harps, it is available in many different colors.
Two strap pins allow it to be comfortably strapped on with a guitar strap so that it can even be played while standing or walking.

Sharpsicle™ Harp

Lever mechanics at C, F strings

Basic tuning C major

The Sharpsicle™ Harp already has 2 levers installed per octave: on all C's and F's.
This makes possible to play in 6 keys (C major, G major, D major and A minor, B minor, E minor).
It weighs about 2.7 kg.

Flatsicle™ Harp

In addition to the Sharpsicle™ Harp, the Flatsicle™ Harp has one more lever per octave - C, F and B - making it playable in eight keys.

Grand Harpsicle® Harp

Available in red, blue, black, white metallic and natural.

The Grand Harpsicle® Harp is the big sister of the Harpsicle® Harps and one of the most extraordinary harps on the market.
It is an electric harp, but it can also be played unamplified and purely acoustic. Due to its resonating body, it has a much fuller and more dynamic sound compared to other compact, pure electric harps.
The Grand Harpsicle® Harp has 33 strings and the range of a large hook harp.
The treble strings are nylon, the bass strings are metal wound. Of course, it is fully equipped with "Rees" semitone keys.
With a height of 114cm and a weight of about 5kg this compact instrument is still very portable. It can either be played as a stand-up harp with the legs screwed on, or slung around with a shoulder strap (a bit similar to an electric guitar).
The Grand Harpsicle® Harp is equipped with a professional L.R. Baggs pickup system and built-in preamp, and can be connected to an amplifier with a standard jack cable ("guitar/instrument cable"). The harp sounds best through an acoustic or keyboard amplifier.
An electric guitar amplifier is less suitable,
because it makes the sound very sharp and thin.

Harpsicle Harps are equipped with specially developed "Rees levers".
These levers can be supplied by us at any time as replacements or for upgrading.
However, we also still have the early Robinson levers in stock, so that older models can be upgraded or repaired.

All harps have a range of 3 1/2 octaves with 26 strings from c to g3 and are 84 cm high and weigh 2.6 - 2.9kg depending on the levers configuration.

Harpsicle® Harps can be ordered in clear lacquered maple or the following colors:
black, white, red, blue, purple and pink.
If your desired model is not in stock, we will gladly order your instrument overseas. Delivery time will be requested individually in the USA.

Harpsicle® Harps accessories

Matching harp bag,

padded and water resistant with sturdy zipper. Side pockets hold sheet music and accessories. Adjustable lengthwise shoulder strap included. (Bags are made in a small manufactory in the USA and delivery time can be up to 4 months at this time, unfortunately).
